Why add Battery Storage to your installation?

Store your Solar Energy
Don't let your Solar energy go to waste while your out at work, store the energy in your Batteries during the day while the sun is shining and use it at peak times, even to charge your EV vehicle overnight.
Decrease your grid dependency
Our battery packs for solar panels are designed to store excess energy, so you can keep and use your additional solar energy when it is needed.
This means that you’ll be able to power your home or business even when the sun isn’t shining whilst limiting waste during sunny spells.
Power your home during power cuts
With island mode your property can continue to operate during power cuts with seamless switchover to battery storage and solar power.
Batteries Without Solar
You can install Battery Storage without Solar Panels, charge your batteries overnight on an 'Off Peak' tariff and use the energy during the day, this is especially useful for those who live in listed properties or communal buildings that don't allow for the installation of Solar panels.
How does Battery Storage Work?

DC-coupled battery storage systems connect directly to the DC output of solar panels before the energy reaches the inverter. This allows the system to store energy without additional AC-to-DC conversions, improving efficiency. The stored energy is later converted to AC for household use. DC-coupled systems are ideal for new solar installations, offering streamlined energy flow and higher efficiency.

AC-coupled battery storage systems are designed to integrate with existing solar installations or grid connections. They use an inverter to convert alternating current (AC) from the grid or solar inverter into direct current (DC) for charging the battery. During discharge, the stored energy is converted back into AC for household use. This setup allows flexibility and easy retrofitting into homes with pre-installed solar systems.
